Field Service Technician - Wire EDM

MC Machinery Systems Inc., a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation which employs over 68,000 people around the world, is searching for a Field Service Technician for Wire EDM machines. This individual will work out of our Pine Brook, NJ location with occasional travel throughout North America. This position requires heavy travel throughout the region, very good communication skills and the mechanical and electrical knowledge necessary to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test complex technical problems on industrial machine tool products for our customers. These services are provided on-site at our customer’s facilities and via telephone if situation permits.

                                                             CNC Milling & CNC Lathe Setup Machinists & Operators – Full Time

Tool Technology Inc. is an ISO-9001:2018 & AS9100C certified, precision job shop located on the North Shore in Middleton, Massachusetts. Tool Technology Inc. machines products for a variety of industries including aerospace, medical/surgical devices, military and defense, satellite, semiconductor and telecommunications. We are currently looking for 1st & 2nd shift CNC Mill & Lathe  Machinists who are reliable, self-motivated and conscientious.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience with Vertical and Horizontal CNC Milling Centers OR standard CNC and live tooling lathes
-Experience with Fanuc and Yasnac controls is required
-Ability to read Blueprints and have a good understanding of GD&T.
-Ability to perform first piece inspection
-Ability to work in a Team environment

Programming is not a requirement but would be considered beneficial. Knowledge of 5S is a plus. Recommendations to department supervisors with regards to Process Improvements is encouraged to keep us competitive.

Experienced CNC Programmer

Job Responsibilities:
  • Use programming to develop 2D and 3D geometrical parts
  • 5 axis programming using MasterCAM software
  • Program and analyze new job orders
  • Update existing programs and setup sheets
  • Creates work instructions in the form of setup sheets
  • Troubleshoots programs on the CNC Floor
  • Identifies special tooling and requisitions
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineers on machining processes
  • Maintain the highest degree of safety always

  • 3-5 years’ experience programming 5 axis CNC machines using MasterCAM

CNC Mill Setup Operator

Job Responsibilities:

  • Under limited supervision, set-up and operate one or more CNC Milling centers. Set-up and operate secondary equipment and perform any other functions within the department that may be necessary.
  • Using defined processes and prescribed operation sequences, set-up and operate one or more CNC machines to close tolerance to achieve quality specifications. Producing moderate to moderately complex components.
  • Troubleshoot process problems and make adjustments and minor repairs to achieve a quality output. This could include adjustments to tooling, machines, and/or part programs.
  • During the machining cycle, perform your own part inspection using a broad range of precision inspection equipment.
  • Assist/support engineers with prove-outs and make suggestions to improve current processes as well as processes that are unproven.
  • Simultaneous to CNC machining operation, perform a variety of secondary operations as required.
  • Perform any other functions that are within skill ability, which may be necessary to achieve optimum performance of this team-oriented organization.
  • Maintain the highest degree of safety always
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience working as an operator, of CNC machines preferred.
  • Experience working with a broad range of precision inspection equipment.
  • Experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, routings, and process sheets.
  • Experience working in a team environment using team improvement tools, preferred.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and machine controls.

Center for Manufacturing Technology

Machine Shop Instructor(s)

The Center for Manufacturing Technology (CMT) is a small, private, career & technical advanced manufacturing training facility located in Woburn MA. We provide career and technical education based on industry need to those individuals who are either already employed or seeking training to gain employment in the industry. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time or part time machine shop instructor position(s).

Position Overview:

Title:                     Machine Shop Instructor
Status:                  Part-time and fulltime positions available
Start Date:          Immediate

Instructors will teach a range of courses, including but not limited to; machine operation of manual lathes & milling machines, drill presses, grinders, Prototraks; CNC turning & milling – from set up to operations; inspection practices including CMM operations;  welding and sheet metal forming; deburring and assembly.

Experience and knowledge of MasterCam and/or SolidWorks is not required but preferred.

Career & technical educational experience not necessary but preferred. Anyone who has worked in the industry with training in the field or apprenticeship training may apply.The disciplines mentioned above are part of multiple courses. Each instructor will be assigned classes or portions of classes that are best suited for their expertise. We also offer professional development and training for instructors looking who wish to expand on their knowledge base.
